If women care to wear carrots and roosters on their heads, that is a matter of their own concern, and it cannot be interfered with by the city, but when it comes to wearing swords they must be stopped.
That's what I've always said.
'Harm's Way'
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

A long time ago...
...we used to have thread.
And P-C was only the second most prolific poster (Cindy had him beat by almost 200 posts).
One man told me he was almost decapitated in the City Hall elevator by the sweep of a hatpin like a scimitar worn by one of the City Hall belles.”
Damn. City Hall belles were like Ninjas.
Cindy's love for Veronica Mars was so very shiny at the time.
And I posted in it 65 times? And don't remember it at all?
But surely you weren't the top poster in it?
I know there are threads I never enter and it's NICE not to be the top posters there. Natter, though, I natter therefore I am (procrastinating usually).
eta xpost, obviously.
By standing up you mean coming out?
The statement, IMO, implies that he personally disagrees with the way he voted on gay rights. It would be cowardly to campaign on what you feel is wrong just to get elected.

You see? Wearing chickens on your head is not only fucking great, it's all historical and shit.
Now I want a sword for my hair.
surely you weren't the top poster in it?
Not even close. Still, top 30. But I was reading the discussion of it thinking "Ah, this will never pass." And then it does, and I take part? Whuhuh? It's like a void in my head.

Oh yeah, agree totally. I just wasn't sure if you were at him for not being upfront with bigots that, you know, I'm one of those people you despise v. what you say above.
Which I don't buy in the first place (his lack of personal homophobia), but that's another matter. Interesting that he's claiming to be as craven as George Wallace as if it's somehow supposed to be a good thing. These people are fucked up.
