You could do a red tie if it matches exactly. Or a skinny black tie if you want to flash back to the 80s. My taste in ties is, I suspect, very bad.

When the kids and I were flying down to Anaheim on Christmas day, there was a grandpa, on the same flight, who was wearing a Christmas hat. That was a felt 3D Christmas tree. That lit up with flashing lights. And played Christmas music. AND DANCED ON HIS HEAD. We made sure to sit FAR away from him.
