Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Barb, I was just looking at those very dresses this morning! How about the navy-and-white hooded dress on the same page?

“Not dead yet!”

Zen, I took a look at that one and I like it a lot, but I worry about the sleeves. Things that end at that mid-point of my upper arm tend to make me look like a linebacker. I don't know why and it's infuriating, because it rules out a LOT of dresses I might love otherwise.

Now, another option might be this skirt with a silver or pale gold top?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yes, I like that option.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I like the purple!

Mac has already fucked up wrt the ds. Like woah! I am just livid. He is completely unrepentent and that is IT!

I don't mean to sound ... wrong somehow, but why can't you just take the DS out of the equation?

I totally get why food should not be a fighting thing in that it is never forced and always available to Mac. But this is a handheld gaming system that, from everything I have read in recent memory, has caused *nothing* but problems for you guys.

It's not a basic human requirement. It's not even a basic cultural requirement.

I don't expect a response or anything because it's absolutely your decision. I just have been telling the screen for a while that I am amazed it hasn't, somehow broken or been put irrevocably away for a long time, so I am finally typing it.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Barb, this is my favorite place for not-everyone-else-has dresses: [link]

They have a wide range of goodies. Some more costume/con/ren faire things, some like this:

I also love Victorian Trading (though I haven't bought anything from them):

is it dreadful to wear black? [link]

Something about garden party makes me feel all F. Scott and Zelda I guess.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That skirt totally pops. I think it's much better option than either dress so far.

Cass, not to get all up in her business, but she did try that. And leave it out there as a consequence of not handling the compromise.

aurelia, cool! Using his powers for evil.

Just watched War Stories. Wept again. God, Zoe. Zoe, Zoe, Zoe. That whole rescue sequence gets me. Zoe especially, but I love how everyone's written.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Cass - I think we are heading there or may have gotten there today. His therapist wants it gone, but does not think he can handle it right now and thinks me taking it away will cause too much of break between the two of us.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That's what scribners did, right?

Scriveners, as in Bartleby.
