Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, I should go to the hardware store for stuff to hang some shelves and whatnot. That would be good.

Of course, now I'm weepy because the Criminal Minds I'm watching has the Johnny Cash cover of "Hurt."

Oh, okay, I don't usually use my debit card, but they didn't take Amex. I just don't want anyone to be screwed out of their tip.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's in the high 40s/low 50s here now, and gorgeous. I opened all the windows to let fresh air in, took Dylan to the playground, and then my parents drove up for lunch. They're resting at the B&B now. I may nap too.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm sitting in the hairdressers with purple dye in one stripe of hair.

I did go to target but only ended up buying a new pair of inside pants. It was in a smaller size though.

hwæt

I can get into the MOMA store without paying admission to the museum, right? I want to buy my niece something Tim Burton-y for her birthday.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Grrr. My sister told me that my dad was planning on coming down today, and I want him to take me to Costco. But I haven't heard from him so I don't know if it's going to happen or not.

(I don't want to call him because I want to see if he'll really come down here and do what he's intending to do without actually calling me first. Communication in my family can take some odd twists and turns and I want to see how this one plays out.)

Meantime, I'm sitting here. Well, I'm doing work. But I'd rather be going to Costco.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yes. I'm pretty sure it even has a seperate entrance or an entrance before the museum admission desk.

I've never had a museum say "no" when I've asked to do that. The Empire State Building even let me go up to buy something my sister had admired the previous day.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh, msbelle. I'm sorry it is so tough.

It is 70 here. Going to see the place I am moving to again so we can figure where stuff is going to be placed. Will take pictures. My eldest has no interest in going to see the place. He has other stuff to do. He is less than thrilled about the idea of moving. The younger son is delighted so I guess it balances out. B Jr. is 18 and graduating, so if he doesn't want to move with us he can make other plans. Does that sound heartless? Just the facts of life.
