We did Sade songs with our last band. It had super fun harmony parts.
Tonight with the current band, we did Tom Petty. Which we're doing tomorrow for church.
I love liver. I order chicken livers & gizzards once or twice a month when we stop by our favorite truck stop dive restaurant run by a benevolent dictator Navajo lady. So good. Especially when (whitefonted because this is Natter and not Bitches)
I'm on my period and need the iron. Then sometimes I crave liver.
I would eat liver and onions all the time if it were available to me, but the SO hates it.
I've never heard Sade, but I totally guessed her when I had no idea who the artist was during the music round on trivia night, and I was right.
ND, he also wants to know if you have any pull and can get us a Mickey.
Does it count as a mickey if you
ask
for it?
It's the movie they used as the plot for Airplane.
I need to see that. My brother stumbled upon it a few months ago. Maybe also on TCM? I think he came in partway through, so he was like, "Huh. This plot is oddly familiar but I can't quite place it... Oh! Wow! I had no idea how faithful Airplane was!"
I don't really have a conclusion to this anecdote but: it was cute because my brother dorked out. The end!
Oh! Wow! I had no idea how faithful Airplane was!"
They actually bought the rights so they could follow the plot exactly.
The line, "I guess I picked the wrong week to quit smoking" is in the movie.
Sterling Hayden is the ex-commander guiding him in from the ground.
Whoa - guy with an eyepatch! So random.
Random thought for the evening: There needs to be some cross-network crossover in which John Casey (from Chuck) and Sue Sylvester (from Glee) meet. It would be magical.
Sue Sylvester could only improve any other show she came into contact with. There's a simply marvelous Glee/SPN crossover in which she snarks all over Dean.
Do you have a link to that, Consuela?
He landed safely, and his CO respects him now, and his manhood is restored.
