Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yes, Rob coded MARCIE. He still posts in Tech.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Rob (who may still be lurking?) mainly posted in the tech threads.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I think I'm getting him confused with Rick.

Our wings are not tired.

Unnecessary.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh! And in non bureaucratic news, our friend came over and bobcatted our piles of dirt that had been in our yard since we built the house! Yay! And he says it's nice dirt! Now the SO and his student are back from town and they're going to spread mulch on the flowerbeds and plant groundcover I think. Although we have super super winds coming up, so I dunno that any of the work they're going to do will stick. Still, we need to do something! But I'm so happy that my yard finally looks like a yard and not a construction site. There's a ton more work to do, but it's a beautiful day. I'm feeling all spring-inspired by it.

Liese, have you ever posted pics of your house/land? 'cause I'm totally intrigued by your descriptions.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Yes, I know of Rob, but he wasn't taking part in that conversation so I don't know who Gar was actually referring to.

Yeah, back in the day over on flickr. Are you my contact over there?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hooray for nice dirt!

I need to get off my butt and do something about my yard so it doesn't look like an untenanted lot gone wild, but I just keep reading old Bureaucracy. It's a sickness.

It's also weird because I remember being there for some things and then I won't remember the next thing at all and I haven't come across any actual posts of mine, yet. I know I lurked for quite a bit and then was in and out for various reasons, so it's all explainable, but it's weird to read it all in a chunk.

And I just recently came across someone saying that reading days and days of Bureaucracy threads in one sitting was a bad idea and had good meta temporal anomaly laugh over that.

ETA: my typing seems to be getting progressively worse, lately. What is up with that?

Yep. I do recall seeing it now, but I think I get it confused with ShaneCookie's mommie's place. I'll go look now.

ETA: looked through my contacts list and no see you. Can you add me please? truejavachik
