Lydia: Its removal from Burma is a felony and when triggered it has the power to melt human eyeballs. Giles: In that case I've severely underpriced it.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I find it funny that we're nattering about old Bureau threads.

Mmm-hmmm. Wasn't Bureaucracy originally set up to remove stuff from Natter? It's like a great big circle of posting. Or maybe all roads lead to Natter? ETA: I'm not complaining, I'm just finding it funny.

Eh, whatever. Ima waiting for the Jessebot and Allysonbot match. Someone's streaming it, right?

Nicely done , msbelle . He'll either go to school or learn to cook. Either way it is a win

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

"Find," absolutely. I'll be right back.

Ha! I'm now waiting for posts from jjjesse, /jesse, jesse/, etc.

I'm confused by the preferential voting discussion. Not about the voting methods, but by Typo Boy continually referring to what Rob said. Rob isn't in that discussion. Is Wolfram's name Rob?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Rob is Typo Boy's invisible badger friend.

OK, maybe not.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nice tactics, msbelle!

Remember how the Movies thread was supposed to include the Oscars watch-n-post? Goot times.

we should have a watch and post thread for all events, no divisions.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Preferential voting discussion still makes me twitch, and I've actually had to teach voting methods at least four times since then, since it's included in two of the math-for-non-majors classes at my university.

Now tagless for your comfort.

msbelle's my hero.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

There was definitely a Rob, since he was offering to code MARCIE at one point. I don't know if he did. I do know I am happier for the existence of MARCIE.
