Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Roy Ashburn ARRESTED

Man, watching these hypocrites get caught just never stops being funny.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yep.

IME there is nothing unusual about straight people going to a gay nightclub, but it's still funny.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Certainly not, but I do find it unusual for someone who claims to be an opponent of gay rights to be at a gay nightclub.

He went there for research. The guy riding with him in the car was also probably there for research.

That's why it's still funny (putting aside the fact that he's trying to deny people civil rights).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

there is nothing unusual about straight people going to a gay nightclub

Statistically, I'd say there is. Even before you get to the opposition of gay rights thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Statistically, I'd say there is.

As it should be! Otherwise they would not be gay nightclubs. I'll say there's nothing bizarre about straight people going to gay nightclubs, but it's not the usual thing.

I dunno - it was sorta' trendy for a while for straight couples to go to gay clubs - to the point where my gay friends were complaining about all the straight people filling up their favorite gay clubs.

Dunno if that's still trendy.

But I suppose it's different for a straight man to go to a gay club by himself.
