It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

For those of us who use Hulu to watch any Comedy Central shows, Viacom is pulling them from Hulu next week. Sigh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Isn't Hulu supposed to be going pay sometime soon? Of the suck.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Corporate sent me an email with an article about that. Lemme dig it up.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Newspaper headline on sfgate - "Thursday expected to be week's only dry day" and my mind was wondering why Thursday would be alcohol free.

I blame Juliana.

My job here is finished.

DJ, I skiperated, but is the Grapevine closing???

I can't find it, but the gist was. Last 4 or so episodes available free, but you pay to have access to more content.

Do you remember when that goes into effect? Or has it already?

No. Our neighborhood is kinda mixed development on the main drag & there are a few bars within walking distance. One of them had become our main hangout.

The block it is on is a 1920's retail development. The Italian place (been there around 30 or so years) apparently caught fire and wiped out the whole block including our place (been there since 1923). So we've lost our neighborhood bar, along with 2 others and the Italian place. and a hundred or so employees, many of them our friends are without work as of yesterday morning. One of our friends worked at both the Italian place and our bar.

Oh and the big moneymaker that pays everyone's rent-St. Pat's Day Parade is next weekend.

Jon's trying to put together work share and job boards. 2 accounts have been set up at the bank across the street to help employees and for possible rebuilding.

To sum up: Historical neighborhood places burned to the ground, people are out of work, other people are being awesome and stepping up. It's all here with pictures, including one looking from up our street. [link]
