Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I seem to recall insulting, condescending, and confrontational in the mix too.

Our wings are not tired.

I mean, unless you count the girlfriend who showed up to announce his pseudicide

Yeah, I was counting this.

Oh yeah, Dana/shrift. Which means I met you on the Embarcadero last year. Cool!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

And obscene. And a jackass. And very talkative.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mieskie was at least three people--also schmoker and anathema. And then at least one minor spelling variation.

to use Rachel Dawes as an example of a movie character with depth

Gyllenhaal Dawes, perhaps? Certainly not Holmes. It's a loose and generous interpretation.

All posts from schmoker are under the name Anathema, so I assume he must have requested a name change at some point. Though I don't remember, and my head hurts now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I was assuming Gyllenhaal Dawes, with the mentions of her moral code and Lawyer Powers.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Schmoker requested a name change to Anathema. I have no idea why I remember that. I was, as far as I remember, completely uninvolved in that whole scene, might even have still been lurking.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

aurelia told me she got the idea his actual name was Michael and that now she always pictures him as Michael from SGA. And that helps a lot, actually. Try rereading his posts with a bit of a sibilant wraith hiss - it works!

Yup, from reading B'cracy, it seems his real name is Michael. I hadn't remembered that two of the names were the same ID. He did try to come back as mmmieskie (eta: and I find a mieskie/ and a /mieskie), but that doesn't count as pretending to be someone else. mieskie was, IIRC, the banned persona.

eta: Batman Begins Dawes was also trying the legal route to clean up the city, wasn't she?

Our wings are not tired.

The salesguy I posted about last week, the one to whom I accidentally sent the email saying I was irritated by constant calls and texts? Just told me that he and his wife are adopting, either out of Haiti or Ethiopia. He's an excellent salesman for knowing that I am likely to have my heartstrings tugged by this.
