Haiti's Prime Minister: Hundreds Of Thousands Dead
The prime minister of Haiti, Jean-Max Bellerive, told CNN today that hundreds of thousands of people have died following the catastrophic earthquake that struck near the capitol of Port-au-Prince yesterday.
Jeez.
Holy shit.
There are only nine million people in the entire country. Which makes the percentage -- just staggering.

The situation in Haiti is really going to be horrific. I hope that some folks with deep pockets step forward to take on some serious community building from the ground up, do a neighborhood thoroughly and stick with it for years. That country needs so much more than new structures slapped up.
