I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's funny, Hil.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aaaaaand I just got lost in TV Tropes for a few minutes. Case in point.

“Not dead yet!”

As far as the term "cougar" goes, I hate it, but for whatever reason never had a problem with "chickenhawk" which I found amusing.

I have never even heard that term.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

For some reason, my upcoming Tom Waits tour is getting way more press than usual. It's showing up on things like NBC L.A..

Oh well, selling out would be good. Also Goldmine (record collector's magazine) wants to interview me about the tour.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The good news in the family is that my niece is doing well after going back to college at age 30 and her husband's application has been accepted to the State Police Academy. He's going to start the testing process soon.

I'm getting ready to go to my first PTO meeting. Yikes. DH always worries I'll act like the wife in Field of Dreams and get into a brawl.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

PTO or PTA?

Because brawling about Paid Time Off would be a PITA.

Oh, Cash. Your poor dad.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That whole "swerving around the stopped car" deal seems rampant and always reminds me of the incident where Rebecca Gayheart killed a pedestrian.

Man, is she the queen of being recast. She must have a seriously unpleasant personality.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Also Goldmine (record collector's magazine) wants to interview me about the tour.
