The good news in the family is that my niece is doing well after going back to college at age 30 and her husband's application has been accepted to the State Police Academy. He's going to start the testing process soon.
I'm getting ready to go to my first PTO meeting. Yikes. DH always worries I'll act like the wife in Field of Dreams and get into a brawl.
PTO or PTA?
Because brawling about Paid Time Off would be a PITA.
That whole "swerving around the stopped car" deal seems rampant and always reminds me of the incident where Rebecca Gayheart killed a pedestrian.
Man, is she the queen of being recast. She must have a seriously unpleasant personality.
PTO=Parent Teacher Organization, right?

I'm not sure there's gonna be a day I won't be interested in the LA Times reporting on us and interviewing a character who claimed to be dead. Maybe that's just me. But I doubt it.
Heh. And, hey, if you liked Gus...he's not really dead! So there's that.
GusEddie deserves a yoga fist.
I don't mind the term cougar. I'm 37, I've embraced the inevitable. Although, I suppose that technically you can't be a cougar if you're NGA.
Oh dear Cash, much ~ma to your father. I had a bad case of whiplash in college and couldn't turn my head for over a month.
OK folks, my eyes popped out of my head a wee bit at the LAT piece. How in the hooey does TV Tropes get into the LAT?
