Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

So, there was a big quake in Haiti, followed by tons of aftershocks, then a big quake in Okinawa and now a big quake in Chile? It seems creepy and movie like, but I'm wondering if it always seems like that and if quake clusters aren't all that unusual.

There are earthquakes somewhere almost every day, so I don't think we're ready to hop in the plane with John Cusack just yet. But an 8.8 is HUGE, even for Chile.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

An 8.8 is the thing of nightmares.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Mac is SHOWING ME for taking away the ds (so far just this weekend), he is eating chips and drinking soda and refusing to get ready to go with his uncle. I am watching olympics.

Oh and apparently he has hidden my laptop.

Trust my rage

Well I know humans have a tendancy to always think things are getting worse. Still, it just seems like a log of big quakes recently. The earth is pretty amazing.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh and apparently he has hidden my laptop.

That's a no no.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I don't blame the Earth. I'd try and get rid of us too. As one of us though, I am hoping it settles down.

ION, I am completely caught up (well skipped to endish) with all of the threads in my message center. That never happens. This may well be the sign of End of Days.

Ugh msbelle. I guess it's going to be one of THOSE weekends.

I have two crazy cooped up kids. They are currently playing a game we call hall ball. It's kind of like Calvin ball, but you play it in the hallway.

mac decided to stay home with his uncle and play here while watching the olympics in the background. He has calmed from the angry. And I have the laptop back.

I have decided to attack this paint nightmare, I am doing touch-up work on all of my bedroom walls, then I'll do mac's. I also did some clean up work of all the brush strokes on hardware and fixture covers and dips on the floor, but there is much much more to do. I've only done 1.5 walls in my room so far and just moved furniture so I can do 1.5 more, now taking a break.

I've decided I need to ask for half-caff when I get coffee from the market on Saturdays. Not sure if theirs is a higher octane, but I can feel it all day and I don't like that. Have Targetted and pedicured, and I am done with my shopping for the week. The rest of the weekend I can do whatever I want! My toenails are pinker than I'd like, but oh well.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

msbelle, I still can't believe I can't just come over and see your new paint! Stupid moving.
