Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mmm. That might work, thanks. If I haven't snapped and shaved myself by this weekend, and the headache's not too bad, I'll consider it.

Why aren't there more black people in Santa Monica? The Yelp results made it look like there were hits in Culver City which would have rocked. But those reviews didn't look ethnic enough.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Did you see the video he linked to in his testimonial?

Baron Davis getting his beard trimmed by the one woman barber there. She looked good with a straight razor.

Yikes, the picture from the Haiti earthquake on the from of the NYTimes website took me a second to register. Then I realized the whole National Palace had fallen apart like an under egged cake.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I know. It breaks my heart. The country was in such bad shape already that we generally don't cover it in our books, even though it is the only French-speaking country in this hemisphere.

I haven't had my hair cut by a woman in forever. I ended up avoiding them, because they seemed more reluctant to go hard core.

My hair now has too many textures for me to get it all trimmed to the same length. And I'm beginning to envy guys with good edging.

But making an appointment? That's counter to my whole being. Hmm.

The BBC website is where I usually go for disaster news. They report hundreds dead...

Well, they did have two guy barbers.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Ah, I know this is random, but so disappointed our Tonight Show tickets were two days before all this madness. All the shows have crazy monologues right now!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Crazy monologues can be fun, no?

Bon, have you been to the Comedy Store since you moved to LA? (Is it still there?)

More black barbershops in Inglewood.
