Hauser: You really think you can solve the problem? Come into Wolfram & Hart and make everything right? Turn night into glorious day? You pathetic little fairy. Angel: I'm not little.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2009: So long and thanks for all the fish.

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2009? Don't think we've forgotten about you

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I just got my giftee's name, but I will do my best to not slack!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I just discovered that the day I'll finally be able to get to the post office and mail my Secret Santa gift is also a day when everything in my area might be shut down due to sleet, snow, and freezing rain. Slacking may be in my future, darn it.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I've got everything for my giftee, just gotta get it boxed and to the post office or UPS store. I lucked out walking into Barnes and Noble, saw the niftiest display and just knew my giftee had to have them. Not often a package comes together so quickly! I can't guarantee delivery before Christmas at this point, but hopefully by Ephiphany!

Because books.

I got my Secret Santa gift today! From the wonderful incredible Anne!

HOMEMADE knit cap, which looks adorable on me, I have to say, and has the QWERTY row of letters on it. Two kinds of chocolate! HOMEMADE cookies! And a book I wanted, which I can't wait to read! Thoughtful, gorgeous, delicious, perfect. Thank you so much, Anne!

My giftee is going to find his/her package waiting when they return from holiday travels, sadly, because I'm still waiting for one thing to come together.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My giftee is going to find his/her package waiting when they return from holiday travels, sadly, because I'm still waiting for one thing to come together.

I suspect this will be the case with me as well. I'm still hoping that one thing will come in tomorrow but I'm doubtful.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Put me in the "has the stuff, needs to mail" crowd. Except I keep fearing that I haven't included enough and need to add more.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, and while watching NCIS last night, Ziva's machinations moved me to exclaim "Tiny Jewish not-Santa!" KBD was nonplussed.

Art Crawl!!!

I ordered part of my gift online but couldn't find the place where you change the shipping address to not your own - so it's coming to me first.

So annoying.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Except I keep fearing that I haven't included enough and need to add more.

Heh. I did that. Plus, I kept seeing things that I reckoned would be JUST PERFECT for the giftee and getting them too.
