All reposters still Buffistas!
smonster, I feel like an idiot, but how do I repost on Facebook for bonus points? Just copy & paste the link, or is there a "repost this" button I should be seeing but I'm not?
There's a "Share" button, JZ.
Oh dear, {{{P-C}}}. I skipped a bunch & so missed your current mama madness. I think you've made great progress in your relationship with her. Don't give up!
Finished two more pages of my dissertation, and got rejected from two more jobs. Fairly normal math day, I guess.
Sorry about the rejections but yay for dissertation progress, Hil.
I have a werewolf in a videogame named after you. She's a specialist in defending hills.
Hil, this job-hunting process is such slow torture, isn't it? Sorry you have to through it.
I've had eight interviews. Of these, I know that two of them have gone on to the next round of interviews and didn't ask me for a second interview, but didn't send me a rejection, either. I know nothing about any of the others. And then there are a whole bunch of jobs that I applied for that, as far as I know, haven't interviewed anybody, so I have no idea what's going on with those.
Also, decided not to apply to a university in Kentucky because the closest synagogue that has weekly services is 50 miles away. (There's a synagogue in the same city as the university, but it only holds services once a month, and they're in a church.)
