Bunnies frighten me.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

{{{Sean}}} I read about the closure in one of the local newspapers over the weekend--I don't think you and I even talked about it, but I remembered that you'd worked there and of course I know its long and lovely history and my heart just sank for you and everyone in the community.

The entire state is just hemorrhaging richly storied, historic theatres and it's heartbreaking (I especially hate that time and money constraints have meant that I haven't acted in or seen a single show in a live theatre since 2003--not that my measly presence or $8 sliding scale ticket would have made a difference to any of them, but I still feel guilty).

Our wings are not tired

It's a bad time for Arts in California, but this is also not something new. We dropped to the bottom of the list for Arts funding a few years ago, long before the recession kicked into gear. We used to have great schools and great arts funding in this state, those days are long gone.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm going out to do some errands with thessaly today because we are going to have our own (smaller) version of the snowocalypse tomorrow, and who knows when I will be able to get out again.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow, Connie.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

~ma for Connie and Bobby, and TCG's step-grandmother.

Oh, pfft. You cry when you watch Batman.

You have *met* Buffistas before, right?

Seanie, love, so sorry.

On a happier note, WOOT WOOT NEW ORLEANS WITH NORA! And my sister is coming, too! I can't freaking wait. Wish I could go for the whole two weeks.

Our wings are not tired.

Health ~ma coming at ya, Connie. And ~ma for TCG's grandma. Pneumonia at that age is always scary.

They rescheduled Bobby's MRI for 5pm today at a different place because they wanted a bigger magnet finer resolution. I still picked him up from school at noon since I figured he would be expecting me. We had lunch together.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

All the health and diagnosis-ma in the world for Bobby, except what Connie's using. And some recovery-ma for TCG's mimi.

beth, I'm glad Andy's home, and I hope ultimate diagnosis and treatment is quick and efficacious for him, too.

Nora, woohoo, you! An admirable move on your part, and it sounds like wonderful fun!

(((Sean))) dearheart, I'm so sorry.

ETA: Yay, Abby! And I can't help grinning at yet another confirmation of the rightness of the move.

Our wings are not tired.

Nora, that's about the coolest thing ever. And you're inspiring me to do what I've been wanting to do for a long time; take a vacation and spend it at Best Friends in Utah (an animal sanctuary).
