Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Ice is for shaking with gimlets. In weather I hate it exactly as much as I like having electricity.

Hil, I have to agree with your mom on this one. If the conversation needs more than 3 back n forths of text, and not wrapping up any time soon, call. But that might be because I do not have unlimited texts.

This wasn't text messaging, it was chatting on computers.

oh. well that's different. Then I have to agree with you. Although, I tried IM'ing with my mother, and her typing was so slow, it was not a conversation.

Yeah, my mom's typing isn't that fast, either. But it's not like we were discussing anything important -- I was just sharing a link and the latest snowpocalypse news, which was that my university it still waiting to decide whether or not to have classes tomorrow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, my mother's never going to enjoy IMing as a replacement for hearing my voice. I wouldn't expect her to. Burbling is different, plus there's the sensory aspect.

Hell, people wouldn't have phone anxiety if there wasn't something very different about it, for good or ill.

Yeah, it was just calling me while we were already having a conversation that seemed weird, not preferring phone over IM in general. But then again, she also started IMing me while I was talking on the phone to my dad, who was sitting right next to her, because interrupting him to tell him to tell me things was taking too long, so I might just give up trying to figure this out.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I could use some kitty~ma. Harvey is going to the litter box every few minutes. He isn't completely blocked up, but I will be calling the veterinary clinic as soon as it opens to get him in ASAP
