Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
P.S. Vortex and Drew and their limes scare me. At the last F2F, Drew could barely fit any alcohol in his glass because of the limes (which is, I guess, one way to know it's time to stop).
Well, yeah. You have to draw a lime somewhere.
He walked a fine lime.
Towin' the lime?
One toke over the lime?
A lime bit my sister?
Pix, a PixPox on those who complain!! And a PixPox on those who lose pap smears!
I LOVE limes and can't get enough. I should plant a lime tree in my backyard. The lemon tree does exceedingly well, shouldn't a lime tree do well, then, too?
I am tipsy.
And now I want veggie pizza thanks to Hil. And to have coffee with ita and Pix.
Oh, javachik, I want pizza now too.
If Daniel doesn't stop with the citrus puns, I may need an alibi.
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble at work, Kristin.
I need a brain rewire, I swear. I passed out in my fav recliner, rather early, like 11ish. I was happy about this, because I feel the need for more sleep. Had some relaxing dreams, nothing specific, but I remember feeling refreshed as I was coming out of the sleep. Felt like I slept 6 or 7 hours. Only to discover it was only 1:30. Tried climbing into bed and going back to sleep. An hour of tossing and turning, no success. So, back in the magic chair that helps me fall asleep.
Drew and Pix, I'm sorry to hear about Drew's mother. Lots of ~ma to you and the family.
::joins the tackle-hug Sean pile::
I can resist anything but a tackle-hug!
which Americanization would you prefer: just "she" totally leaving off any form of consonent at the end, or "Sheer", or "Shi(French r)"?
Probably one of the last options - there's still an r there, after all. However, I still don't have a clue what's the French r myself, which might suggest a problem, since I am studying French. But given that most Americans will have a hard time with a French r, you can always come back to "Sheer".
Or you can invent me a nickname.
back in the magic chair that helps me fall asleep
Once you had a Fluffy, you can't go back.
Now, my lovelys, for the all time favorite question which I don't know the answer to - is the plural of penis penii?
Penises, mostly.
I should try and go to bed.
not sure what a french R sounds like either. Maybe you could record yourself saying your name and upload it for us to listen to. Just an idea.

Ha! Not to be confused with a "fluffer" or "furry", which my sleep deprived brain reread it a few times as. Yes, Fluffy is great for getting me sleep. And I've learned not to fight it anymore. I get far better sleep in the chair, than fighting to fall asleep in bed. No clue why I can sleep in one spot and not the other.

Curious what brought up this question. Thinking about your foursome dream? Something else? Enquiring minds want to know. The answer I found, according to Wikipedia:
The penis (plural penises, penes)
Good night, ita.

If you're still up, I can do Skype now. IJS.

Someone I know is confused. Got an email with "penis's - that's not right, is that?".
A French R is more gluttal than Hebrew. A Hebrew R is "softer, by and large," says The Girl. That doesn't make anything very clear. She says they're very similar. I don't know why I hear them as very different, then.
tee hee hee. I just Skyped with Shir. Gotta love the internet.
OK, so we spent a fair amount of time saying her name, which must have been strange for her. As a non-linguistic person, horrible with phonetics, I will say (and Shir is going to hate me) that the Hebrew-to-English pronunciation of the R is closer to a soft L. So it's more like "Shill" or maybe "Shiel". But Shir will tell you there is an R in there, but couldn't decide if the English R sound came after the L sound or before, and my pronunciation didn't help. I blame cheap mic on the cheap laptop the most.
Either way, it was great chatting.
With that, I will attempt sleep again.
