At Em's age there was one boy I talked to on a regular basis. His name was Jason and he was nice and funny and the only other early reader in my class, and I had vague thoughts that maybe we would get married someday since we both knew how to read. There's a wiki where everybody who's applying for math jobs this year can update which schools are at what stage of interviewing or offering jobs and stuff like that. I keep checking the site. I need to stop that. There's really no interesting news about any place that's already shown any interest in hiring me, but just seeing all these other offers isn't good for me.
