(Having feelings of colossal failure today. We watched Lilo & Stitch with Dylan because it's too cold to go outside. I used to think it was about misfits finding family, but it turns out it's about how much I suck as a mom. Also I have no idea what I'm doing on my coop board and want to resign because I SUCK. Fuck this, I need a cupcake. Fortunately I made cupcakes this afternoon.)

Oh, so that's how it was called. For me, it's the part of me that's seeing red and can't shut up, even when it's not that recommended to talk.
Calli, it's really weird about Lectures on Islam, but I knew something was up when it took me 10 whole minutes to try and Google the title in English last night (I have the book in Hebrew, but the original is in German). It's weird because this book was published at least 80-90 years ago. I can see, from Googling the title ("Vorlesungen über den Islam"), that it got translated into several other languages, and I have no idea why this wasn't translated into English just yet. Anyhow, since there are really not a lot of Islamic scholars named Ignác (Yitzhaq Yehuda) Goldziher, I guess it's our guy. I'll be in the university tomorrow, and I'll try to see if at least there are parts of it that were translated into English.
