'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Heh. Yeah, umm, from my experience with her in her fandom days, she's on the list with C-- G-- in the RUN! RUN SCREAMING! category.

Though, that said, it's unfortunate that she's having to deal with her PTSD.

What Plei said, except for the fandom part. I used to be a huge fan of hers but, umm, drastically changed my mind. Can't even remember exactly what did it.

And hearing that she was a Spike apologist is just weird, b/c doesn't she opine that RPF=rape?

Not that I want to open a whole can o' worms or anything.

Most of my Family Guy-induced laughter is choked down with a shame chaser.

ION, how's my Bitches? (she says, posting and running)

Always Anti-fascist!

And, yes, I'm partially quite jealous that thoughts I thought were stupid over my teenaged pop-tarts back in the eighties bought his house.(not exactly...mine didn't come with drawings, but close enough to sting) for sure.

eh. Yeah, umm, from my experience with her in her fandom days, she's on the list with C-- G-- in the RUN! RUN SCREAMING! category.

A lot of feminists have had the same experience with her in various feminism boards and communities. She is the light and the way who decides who is a good feminist and who isn't. Among other things if you claim to enjoy giving blow jobs you are lying and a bad bad feminist. But I'm still sorry she is experience PSTD, and think she is being treated horribly.

Nothing in that post needed saying twice.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Oooh, Pete is taking me to Purple tonight. The place that a bunch of us went during the f2f!

I need to get back to Seattle if only to go to that restaurant when I can actually eat something. Which also reminds me that I need to order a case of that lavender soda.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oh, I really liked Family Guy for the first couple-few seasons. Then it just became a preponderance of rape jokes and musical numbers that are obviously filler because the episode ran too short.

As far as I'm concerned, there are two totally different series. The actually edgy one from before it was cancelled, and the one where being brought back convinced MacFarlane that he really can get away with whatever white straight fratboy crap he feels like.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Ah, that's why I've never heard of this person. Really never got to see much Family Guy.

Have you had occasion to read any papers by Robert Wilton?

No, but I'm just looking him up now, and his work sounds interesting. I'll read some of it. Enabling geographies. Nice!
