Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Steph, I used your chili recipe! OMG, I might explode.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Vortex, after my mom died Dad sold the house and moved into an apartment. So "their house" turning into "Dad's apartment" was different enough that I didn't really notice it. But it was odd transitioning to "visiting Dad" instead of "visiting the folks."

Congrats, barb!! How did I not realize it had been bought, even?!?

Hil, that's crazy, but also sounds like a relaxing April or may, at least? And...are you month to month? WTF? Don't they have to give some notice on that rent jump, jeez!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Steph, I used your chili recipe!

Woot!

I am eating garlic naan as I type. If I die right now, I will die happy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Naan sounds good right about now, and I am still craving cupcakes from the earlier discussion.

BTW, Teppy I LOVE the new probiotic.

I've found out more about our new kitty. Poor little thing is old and bowlegged and walks like she's in pain. Apparently this is kind of a hospice situation. We made a kitty house from a box and a towel.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

HA!!

Just found an ex on Facebook and I TOTALLY knew he was gay when I was dating him, only he didn't then and I feel a smidge vindicated.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Good human!

I have a kitty heating pad that Kittenish (old girl) especially loved in winter. It's made for kitty body temps and warms up only when there is a cat on it.

Oh my god, the Indian food was SO GOOD. I had a little of both the matar paneer and the aloo saag. I can't decide which one I like better, so I think they should always be combined. And the garlic naan must have crack in it.

Excellent! There is, I found out, a non-branded version of it (i.e., the name is not Florastor; it's just the name of the organism [saccharomyces boulardii]), so because I'm a cheap bastard, I'm going to switch to that when the Florastor has run out.

Did you find a source for the generic? I am also a cheap bastard.
