Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Did you find a source for the generic? I am also a cheap bastard.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Did you find a source for the generic? I am also a cheap bastard.

Vitacost: [link] That's $12-ish for 90. If the generic is in the same ballpark as Florastor in terms of efficacy, I will be thrilled.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Vortex, I get that with my house too. Usually I just call it "the house" and let the context dictate who the owner is, but I still tell stories about things that happened in "my parents' house" and blip over the fact that they don't live here anymore.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I have a kitty heating pad that Kittenish (old girl) especially loved in winter. It's made for kitty body temps and warms up only when there is a cat on it.

Linky? Technically we-uh, *she* is only fostering Lucy, but I have a sneaky feeling Ima be spending some money on her.

There's a pic up on my fb page for the feline-inclined.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I got Kittenish this one in sage. Which? The color is on the bottom side so don't pony up the extra $5. Still, it's pretty awesome and now that it's not so freezing, she shares with Puppycat sometimes.

They have a lot of cat heating pads if that's not the one for you and Lucy.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I miss kitty. When I was couch surfing, M&C's kitten and cat would crash on the futon with me. Nothing better than a lap cat on a cold nite. Although attack kitten chasing moving things under the covers gets old quick. Thankfully no, ahem, awkward incidents.

That said, the rain is coming down, and I don't have any groceries (tech + trip = no fresh food). Papa Johns has a special $10 large pizza with up to 7 toppings. I got two of them. Should last until the storms pass.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

(((Vortex))) It's a part of the process, we do move on. But it does feel unavoidably strange.

Barb, that's fantastic news! And I'm so impressed with your cookbook wall!

Aims - Jan 28, 2010 6:03:37 pm PST #8295 of 30000
Shit's all sorts of different now.

Here is what is scary about Barb's cookbook wall:

a) She sent me about 15 before she moved.

b) The ones she sent me were pretty kick ass, so what is left is kind of intimidating.

{{{Vortex}}} That must have been a strange moment. Yay for grieving process working its way, but boo at the same time. Many hugs to you, sweetpea.

smonster and roommate = Good Humans. And I love calicos!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh my god, the Indian food was SO GOOD. I had a little of both the matar paneer and the aloo saag. I can't decide which one I like better, so I think they should always be combined. And the garlic naan must have crack in it.

Was it the place I went to?

Wallybee doesn't like Indian food. I have it far too rarely now. The only decent restaurant in walking distance here is an Indian restaurant too.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Indian food seems to be the trend these days. We went to that yummy place in Pasadena last Sunday with the PixDesign wedding stragglers (and I got all the leftovers, yay!) and this coming Saturday we're celebrating my birthday at a place in Artesia that gets rave reviews.
