Roomie has made the cat exchange. Nik has gone to a no kill shelter and Lucy has joined us. She's has IBS and can't eat other food. Wish us all luck!

Vortex, after my mom died Dad sold the house and moved into an apartment. So "their house" turning into "Dad's apartment" was different enough that I didn't really notice it. But it was odd transitioning to "visiting Dad" instead of "visiting the folks."

I've found out more about our new kitty. Poor little thing is old and bowlegged and walks like she's in pain. Apparently this is kind of a hospice situation. We made a kitty house from a box and a towel.
