'Bring On The Night'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I had my tooth pulled this afternoon. The codeine does not seem to be doing its job. Perhaps I'll eat more ice cream.

“Not dead yet!”

I now have a temporary Washington license. The Super Duper extended one, even.

I also have a release date for Carmen! November 23rd! Just in time for Black Friday shopping and EVERYTHING!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm hungry, but also sick. I don't seem to have any good sick food in the house -- everything has a lot of fiber. I've got a bag of baked tortilla chips -- I might try a few of those.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Had a very weird moment just now. Was on the phone and, for the first time, unthinkingly said "my mother's house" while referring to an event in the past instead of "my parents' house". I've been saying "my parents' house. Well, my mom's house now" or having to think before I said it. This time, it just came out. I'm not quite sure how I feel.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Aww. That's a rough transition.

Our wings are not tired

I still make references both ways with my mom's house. I get an odd twinge each way.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Barb!

(((Vortex))) I'm sorry, that's tough.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's great, Barb!

Yeah, it was a little weird when I started talking about staying at my dad's, or my dad's house.
