I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm back.

With me acting in my Iron Fist dictatorial capacity, armed with a list in order of the aisles, we get in and out in half an hour.

Daniel and I tend to multiply our meandering capability when together, whereas being alone and on a mission for him, I'm there and back like a rabbit.

Is this the one I saw the promo for? The "pregnancy pact"? I'll bet if so, they LT showed the pact as true, whereas in reality there was no pact.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Is this the one I saw the promo for? The "pregnancy pact"? I'll bet if so, they LT showed the pact as true, whereas in reality there was no pact.

The movie showed one girl getting pregnant and then convincing about three or four of her friends that they should get pregnant, too. In the movie story, the other 15 or so pregnancies at the school that year were not involved with the "pact," which the girls didn't think of as a pact, really, but more as a "let's all do this together, since we've done everything else together since kindergarten."

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Can somebody pass me a drink?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Can somebody pass me a drink?

I have a lovely vino verde on hand that I'm happy to pour through the intrawebs. Well, some of it.

Thanks, Calli. I have settled for a Smirnoff Ice. I earned it, we had dinner with TCG's mom tonight.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Unfortunately, sj, I'm out of Scotch.

I watched a Lifetime movie once. There was a Conflict and a Quest, and they didn't show the resolution of either one. Instead the goddam movie ended with a monologue by the main character, spoken directly to the camera, about some morals or something we were supposed to have gained through the enlightening influence of this stupid movie. I mean, really. This whole, actually rather interesting, story, and we never know what happened?

Askye, you were totally right to stay home. Just because you could go to work, doesn't mean you should, and I think someone else already said that. You really are sick, for reals; it doesn't matter how many times you called out when you weren't. I hope this antibiotic regimen takes care of that infection and you get well, for reals, finally. I can't even express how brave I think you are; just the thought of doing what you're doing, by yourself, makes me feel faint.

Trust my rage

Askye, I've been meaning to share. Ellie has been hospitalized twice where it was just taking ABs for a week. It was very frustrating because she's a child and required is to be with her 24/7. But both times she was very sick and needed to take it easy. I'm glad you are staying home.

We have plenty of Scotch here, but I don't have a taste for it.

I can trade you a couple bottles of Chardonnay and, um, a box of crackers.
