Time for some thrilling heroics.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

And because it deserves its own post:

What all the wise folks said, especially about the fact that this family is so much cooler.

brillig

I hate feeling like such a stereotype.

I don't think it's you that's the stereotype here.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm so sorry, Daisy.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Um, Seska, I have been there and lived through it. I wish you as staunch and loving a partner as I had, and that your prospective in-laws see reason sooner than later.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

You're all lovely (and that's absolutely not just the vodka talking. hic). Thanks all for the wisdom.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I am just a little bit in love with Conan O'Brien right now. And by a little bit, I mean a whole big bunch. It's his last show, and his final speech was classy, moving and heartfelt. He refused to bash NBC and he gave mad love to his staff and crew and his fans. I have a new respect for him.

I still hate Will Farrell and am sad that his idiocy was the end of Conan's show.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh, I can watch that because I am left coastal! And awake because I slept for a few hours earlier.

Morning all. We're opting out of life for a day. Going to find a pub in the countryside. It's mostly a way to postpone big life decisions, but it's Saturday and we're going for a drive.

Finding a pub in the countryside sounds like a perfect way to spend a Saturday.

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes!
