Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think I'm allergic to the east coast. I got to SF, and I could breathe easily for the first time in months. Got back to DC, and within a few days, my sinuses are killing and I'm coughing again.

Kitty home, he'll be on prednisone to help with the swelling. Not sure exactly where we go from here, but we have him home and happy and hungry for now

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, askye, that sounds pretty challenging. I hope it is easier than it seems, and that it has you feeling better fast.

I often feel like that happens when I travel and then come home, Hil. Something to do with the irritants being slightly different elsewhere, building sensitivity with exposure. Maybe. Or, you know, something is blooming or otherwise in the air out there that just isn't in SF and that's the thing that gets you.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Anecdotally I do know a ton of people who swear they never had allergies before moving to the East coast.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I think I'm allergic to the east coast.

As multiple job offers roll in, you could take that into consideration.

Hee. The place furthest west that's shown interest was in Arizona, and then one in Kentucky, and all the rest on the east coast. So far, anyway.

Thrive to spite them

My dad brought me food! YAY I got him How to Cook Everything for Christmas and he bought me gumbo that is his own recipe but tomorrow he's brining over pot roast from the book.

And he has plenty of time to cook -- he got laid off. Which he decided wasn't too bad. Last year he "semi retired" and was still working part time and trying to meet some financial goals. The severance pay covers those so he's okay with it.

Polter Cow if you see this How to Cook Everything is a great book for a beginner cook.

Oy. Someone contacted me through ancestry.com, saying she's doing research for a friend of hers. She gave me enough information about her friend for me to narrow it down to two cousins, both of whom have been involved in several feuds with my close relatives. Either of them, seeing my user name there and which part of the family I have info on, would have known who I was. The website also lets you see if someone else save a record that you've also saved, and she's been saving records from people that I'm related to but they're not, which is a little weird.
