Don't belong. Dangerous, like you. Can't be controlled. Can't be trusted. Everyone could just go on without me and not have to worry. People could be what they wanted to be. Could be with the people they wanted. Live simple. No secrets.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oy. Someone contacted me through ancestry.com, saying she's doing research for a friend of hers. She gave me enough information about her friend for me to narrow it down to two cousins, both of whom have been involved in several feuds with my close relatives. Either of them, seeing my user name there and which part of the family I have info on, would have known who I was. The website also lets you see if someone else save a record that you've also saved, and she's been saving records from people that I'm related to but they're not, which is a little weird.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I think I'm allergic to the east coast. I got to SF, and I could breathe easily for the first time in months.

Hil, I would give my left arm to trade sinuses with you. The entire Bay Area torments mine constantly in a way that I absolutely can't remember ever suffering during my college years on the east coast. Which, other than the sinus happiness, is just really not my home. I belong here, I love it here, I never want to leave here, but oh I would love to actually breathe here.

Tons of kitty~ma to Andy, and coping~ma to beth and Matt.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The whole time in New Orleans my sinuses were much happier than any time I've lived in California. Which is extremely weird, considering which place is full of green growing things spouting pollen and exciting molds, but there it is. I blame the almond trees, mostly.

Eta: but California is Home and Nasalcrom helps an awful lot.

OK, I'm pretty sure I've figured out which cousin it is on ancestry.com, and I'm almost positive that this is going to cause Drama. I so don't want to be in the middle of this.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The PNW is brutal on me allergy-wise. But it's good for me in other ways. For this there are Advair and Nasonex. And Benedryl, my OTPharmacutical.

Nasalcrom helps an awful lot

I can't help hearing Arnold's voice saying "By Crom!" whenever I hear the name of that product.

Nasalcrom, Crom's weirder brother.

I may have to look for that the next time I'm at Half Price Books. I need a good basic cookbook.
