The next time you decide to stab me in the back... have the guts to do it to my face.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ok, I've done two useful things since my nap. I can take another nap, right?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Absolutely, WS.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Napping is good. I would suggest doing so, WS. I feel much better after my nap.

Much kitty~ma to Andy, Beth, and Matt.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

{{{Andy, beth, and matt}}}

Stressful day. It was go go go at work preparing for an event tomorrow and trying to catch up on shit, then I had to pay $50 cash to avoid getting my car towed. I hate people who tow from lots that no one uses after five. I was only there for 15 min. while I dropped a dress at the tailors. Uggh.

Trying to wind down now. I have a lot to do but I am, as always, exhausted.

Thrive to spite them

I had my first IV treatment today and now I have a fridge full of medicine, an IV pole, a ton of supplies and information. I have to do this IV infusion starting tomorrow twice a day until next Wednesday when I'll only have 1 treatment.

Because they have to be 12 hours apart I'll be doing the infusion at 7 am and 7 pm. The medicine has to be out of the fridge for an hour before hand. I'm not a morning person but I'll be trying my best. Tomorrow a nurse is coming and testing my blood levels before and after.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to do everything by myself including wrapping up the iv port to cover it with a stretchy bandage. I can't get my arm wet but I have a hand held shower so that may be okay.

My arm is really cold because of the treatment. I need an armwarmer.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think I'm allergic to the east coast. I got to SF, and I could breathe easily for the first time in months. Got back to DC, and within a few days, my sinuses are killing and I'm coughing again.

Kitty home, he'll be on prednisone to help with the swelling. Not sure exactly where we go from here, but we have him home and happy and hungry for now

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, askye, that sounds pretty challenging. I hope it is easier than it seems, and that it has you feeling better fast.

I often feel like that happens when I travel and then come home, Hil. Something to do with the irritants being slightly different elsewhere, building sensitivity with exposure. Maybe. Or, you know, something is blooming or otherwise in the air out there that just isn't in SF and that's the thing that gets you.
