YAY heat!

For Christmas Mom got my kitties a cat tree. Originally we were looking at the various pet stores and anything decent size was around the $200-$300 range. Which was too much so we started looking on line and found one through Overstock.

It's a GREAT cat tree I love it, the cats love it, it was easy to put together, and the shipping was $2 and it was just over $100. This is it - [link] If anyone is looking for a cat tree. Also it looks like it will be easy to take apart when I move.

“Not dead yet!”

Yay for growing babies and headaches abating!

And heat is a lovely, lovely thing. As is the ability to cook and wash clothes and hey, even my own body! WOOT!

God, but that first company that didn't initially fix the problem were total tools.

Hiya, WindSparrow! I've left the party, which is going on in the apartment next door to mine (convenient, that). Lovely people there, but I'm about to fall asleep due to being all morning persony.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, cat trees in pet stores are so overpriced. I'm really tempted to get the one you linked to, but then to insure it was used properly I'd have to get another cat....

They have smaller ones! I'm waiting to see if Mom's cat gets on it to try it out. So far Maddie has a problem getting to the top perch, she keeps trying to scale the "backside" rather than going up the various perch levels.

The lack of caffeine is making me kind of grouchy and grumpy. At least I'm going to blame it on that.

I did have a soda today, I went to Whattaburger for dinner and had a root beer. I like root beer but it wasn't all that great. I wish I had skipped it and just had water.

Edit that's not true I still really really REALLY wanted a diet coke, but the choice between root beer and water, I wish I had gone with the water.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

That looks like an awesome cat tree.

Roomie's cat sprayed again, I'm not totally sure where. Roomie may see if she can trade him out for another cat at one of our local no kill shelters.

I'm thinking I'm going to take a Tylenol with codeine and hit the sack. Night, Bitches.

eta Found the piss b/c I caught him spraying. Looks like he'd been working on that wall for a while. I think he's going to have to go. I hate it, but we just don't think he's happy here.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yay for hot Barb! And the heat being on, too.

smonster, are there other cats in your household? Spraying Cat might prefer to be the Only Cat. Is he neutered?

askye, how tall is that cat tree? Product info says 66", but the review says over 6'.

The base of the top perch is just above eye level for me and I'm around 5'7" ish.

“Not dead yet!”

Am I a whackjob for taking care to bundle all my cords and tying them neatly together with wire ties so that they're somewhat neat and hidden? The rest of my family is looking at me like I'm nuts.

Then again, it's my office so I can do whatever the hell I want, right?

And I have an office! A real one! With a door that closes!

(I know I'm a spoiled git. I apologize.)
