Wash: Don't fall asleep now. Sleepiness is weakness of character. Ask anyone. You're acting captain. Know what happens you fall asleep now? Zoe: Jayne slits my throat, and takes over. Wash: That's right. Zoe: And we can't stop it.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

An answer is a good thing, askye! Yay for having relief in sight.

Herding cats for fun

Bladder infections are NO fun. Glad we have antibiotics for fighting-the-ick-fu.

Married in a library? Sigh. Now that's what I call a righteously Buffistaesque venue.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, yay, that's it's nothing bigger. Still NOT FUN AT ALL (I've had one kidney infection and it was terribly painful, and I have pretty high pain threshold.)

Cold-turkey caffiene-free sounds pretty traumatic. My utter sympathy.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

askye, I am so glad they figured it out!!

eat a limited amount of dairy (not sure why the dairy)

High amounts of calcium cause kidney stones. Usually more than you could eat through dairy, but with your issues, you're probably more susceptable.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh, what a relief, askye! Kidney/bladder infections suck mightily, but I'm so glad you have a diagnosis now.

Seekrit message to javachik: I just put another invitation in the mail for you. Let's see if the USPS loses this one, too!

Btw, if anyone requested an invitation and didn't get one, please let me know. It seems that at least a couple went walkabout.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh yay for good news, askye. Sorry about the dietary proscriptions, but it's a relatively small price to pay. I've actually found if you do without something long enough, when you finally get to have it again, it's not nearly as wonderful as you remember. So, giving up a little diet room for a healthier you is not really much hardship.

Erin, getting married in the library is inspired. And that's a gorgeous library! I can't wait to see the eventual dress--the conception sounds beautiful.

Kate, gold and red will suit you fabulously. And be wonderfully happy and portentous.

P-C, I'm glad things seem to be settling down. But yes, remain strong. You have to be the grown up here. Sucks, I know.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

askye, that's the best bad news I've heard all day.

“Not dead yet!”

MARRIED IN A LIBRARY! Perfect. Fucking. Happiness.

Erin, that is to DIE for fucking perfect.

askye, I'm sorry you're feeling so miserable, but glad it's something fixable.

Anything else I'm missing, my Bitches, accept my apologies for I am a skippy thing of the skippiest sort at the moment.

I go tomorrow to enroll Abby at her new school. She's excited and nervous all at the same time.

Punishingly Intricate

We had the Peabody library on our list (on the wiki!) but it was too spendy. It is a beautiful location.

Herding cats for fun

(waves both hands at Beverly, jumps up and down like a fool)

Hey there! You wouldn't believe how big my little Sophie has gotten since you were here the day I adopted her. Plus I hope you had fun enjoying the pretty weather and putting off unpacking boxes.
