askye, that's the best bad news I've heard all day.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
MARRIED IN A LIBRARY! Perfect. Fucking. Happiness.
Erin, that is to DIE for fucking perfect.
askye, I'm sorry you're feeling so miserable, but glad it's something fixable.
Anything else I'm missing, my Bitches, accept my apologies for I am a skippy thing of the skippiest sort at the moment.
I go tomorrow to enroll Abby at her new school. She's excited and nervous all at the same time.
We had the Peabody library on our list (on the wiki!) but it was too spendy. It is a beautiful location.
(waves both hands at Beverly, jumps up and down like a fool)
Hey there! You wouldn't believe how big my little Sophie has gotten since you were here the day I adopted her. Plus I hope you had fun enjoying the pretty weather and putting off unpacking boxes.
Katie! I'm so excited about your guest artist thing! I wish I was there to buy stuff. And blandish other people into buying stuff. "It looks fabulous on you. Just look at that. It goes with your eyes and brings out the green in your hair. Here, take the mirror out in the sun. See? Perfect!"
I want another Miyazaki day on the headlands so bad I can taste it!
What Trudy said about the best bad news.
Y'all, I just had the greatest conversation with my HS friend. We talked for over an hour and would have kept going but his phone was dying. He's so funny and sweet and intelligent. Plus he went through a similar but worse relationship situation and had lots of good advice and support for me. He's even volunteered for the Duct Tape Brigade.
Sadly, we're probably not Meant To Be because he's allergic to cats, but I'm so happy to be back in touch.
Holy crap, I want this REAL bad. MARRIED IN A LIBRARY! Perfect. Fucking. Happiness.
and you can get married WITH the books.
Okay Askye Update - They found out what's wrong with me!! Massive, massive infection in my bladder and kidney. No kidney damage, which is good, but evidentally my whole urinary tract (at least on one side) is infected. So they did an antibacterial wash of, well, everything. I have a EIGHTEEN day supply of antibiotics (Levaquin or however it's spelled).
Yay! Well, not about the infection, but the diagnosis.
Miyazaki day on order. We'll have blue skies, light Pacific breeze, big fluffy clouds, a giant cat bus...
Yay for them finding something and knowing what it is and all that jazz, askye! Suckage for not finding it sooner, and having to make all those lifestyle changes, but...no more mystery diagnosis!
Also, can I get a big YAY for finally managing to "man up" and say the "we need to talk" and breaking up?? Unshockingly, she was expecting it, and all seems cool. We are still meeting up for dinner, and I do not expect any drama.
