congratulations to the PixDesigns!
shit I did not say (yet) / don't know how to say: dearPerson - on the day one of the projects you added to my list a month ago, that I worked overtime to see hit a mark, launches, sending an email saying there hasn't been enough movement on the project that was pushed to make room for the new project? Not a motivator. In fact, complete opposite.
Congratulations to Drew & Kristin!
Also, to Jessica. You may be outnumbered, but you're still in charge.
Aw, you guys look lovely. Congrats, you two.
How *did* you pick your officiant? Is he/she from Hawaii or was it a friend imported from CA? Same question for your lovely and talented photographer?
(I am intrigued by planned elopements, what can I say?)
YAY PIXDESIGNS!!
I am verklempt and so incredibly happy for you both.
Jessica, the Universe must know that you will raise your sons to be wonderful men.
Sox, I know how I would say that to the supervisors I have - something along the lines of, "Oh, I'm sorry. When you handed that new project with the launch date of ____ off to me, I ended up spending ___ hours on it to get the job done. So I only had _ hours to give to that one. I must have misunderstood which project had the priority." Of course, by and large my supervisors are either rational, or have rational people above them that I can appeal to. So I don't know how well that will work with the jerk-off you are working for/with.
The Steampunk Workshop did a review of Gothic Charm School, here: [link]
The reviewer uses the book review as a bridge to compare steampunk culture and goth culture, and also mentions he's passing the book along to his daughter, who is neither goth nor steampunk, but should find it useful anyway.
aww...
I just looked at the pictures.
sigh
Congratulations, PixDesigns! A long lifetime of joyful co-conspiracy to you both!
Jeepers, I shouldn't be crying over just pictures, but I am! Kristin and Drew, you two look so gorgeous and HAPPY! Congratulations, again and again.
Jeepers, I shouldn't be crying over just pictures, but I am!
I kinda felt the same way - I mean, I get crying AT a wedding, but we weren't even there. Except we were. The same way we are here for each other at any other time. The soul doesn't care about physical location.
