Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{{{javachik}}}}} I'm sorry you had such a rough trip. Take care.

I would follow their lead, sj.

I usually just say TCG's stepmom, because she has said that before, but someone at the shower said it and TCG's mom freaked out about it. So there is really no winning.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I just needed to say that I love JZ.

And it's not just the fever talking.

“Not dead yet!”

Then he's clearly insane. I don't understand how anyone could be your boyfriend without (a) dancing in the streets waving a foam finger and shouting, "ME! ME! SHE PICKED ME!", and (b) doing everything necessary to lock up the gig on a permanent basis.

JZ is so very wise. Not to mention right.

Anything from a dark suit to a sport coat and dark slacks. Khakis are too casual. Baby blue tuxedo with velvet trim & ruffled shirt is also appropriate but will get you mocked. IJS...

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh Shane! That newborn stage is so fleeting. I can remember when both my babies looked like that, with skinny little legs that seemed to fatten from the feet first. So sweet.

BTW GC, in my skimming I noted your visit with the lactation consultant and just can't stop myself from adding my two cents. I found my visits with the lactation consultant to be horribly demoralizing and stressful, turning nursing into a chore. I felt much better after seeing the neonatal NP whose advice was more pragmatic. She told me to nurse Frances whenever she was hungry, and if she was still hungry to go ahead and supplement with formula. Both mom and baby were happier with that arrangement, and I quickly was able to produce enough milk that she only needed one bottle of formula a day.
