Then he's clearly insane. I don't understand how anyone could be your boyfriend without (a) dancing in the streets waving a foam finger and shouting, "ME! ME! SHE PICKED ME!", and (b) doing everything necessary to lock up the gig on a permanent basis.
JZ is so very wise. Not to mention right.
Fashion help. Please define "cocktail attire" for a guy who is fashionably illiterate. ie me.
Anything from a dark suit to a sport coat and dark slacks. Khakis are too casual. Baby blue tuxedo with velvet trim & ruffled shirt is also appropriate but will get you mocked. IJS...

smiling recklessly, in gleaming eyes
do you really want me to help you with that, dear?
Thank you. I came here to vent and seek solace and you all are wonderful.
{{{java}}} I'm sorry.
Here, have some baby pics to cheer you up! [link]
Oh Shane! That newborn stage is so fleeting. I can remember when both my babies looked like that, with skinny little legs that seemed to fatten from the feet first. So sweet.
BTW GC, in my skimming I noted your visit with the lactation consultant and just can't stop myself from adding my two cents. I found my visits with the lactation consultant to be horribly demoralizing and stressful, turning nursing into a chore. I felt much better after seeing the neonatal NP whose advice was more pragmatic. She told me to nurse Frances whenever she was hungry, and if she was still hungry to go ahead and supplement with formula. Both mom and baby were happier with that arrangement, and I quickly was able to produce enough milk that she only needed one bottle of formula a day.
Get-better-soon~ma for Shir and better-year-from-now-on~ma for javachick.
Indie Shanie! So cute!
She didn't mean anything by it, she just realized that "girlfriend" was not quite enough.
The difference here being that large swathes of The Girl's extended family are not allowed to know that she's gay. Which puts me in an interesting position.
It's been an awful day and I am mad at my future in-laws and I want to go home. Please send chocolate.
{{{Seska}}} we'll try to go to Max Brenner if I'll meet you on Monday, OK?
This I gotta hear. YES!
Well, it doesn't help that when I hear "cocktail", I automatically think "cocktail umbrella". So, this. I'm not saying where. Possibly with a black bow tie. Holding a drink.
I, like, didn't think it through?
Edit: and, I'm going to bed now, trying to rest and make this sickness GO GO GO and leave me alone. I have a very busy week ahead. Night, m'Bitches. May the universe treat y'all right.
