Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, I'd also like to know what this new probiotic is.

“Not dead yet!”

Happy New Year, Bitches! Last one in Florida and I found myself at the country club, of all places, celebrating with my in-laws, including my crazy-ass sister-in-law.

But I got to wear a pretty dress, the food was good, and the first band was smokin'. Which, of course, meant that the feature band sucked. Lead singer had a James Brown fixation without the vocal chops to pull it off. ::painful::

A couple of pics from last night:

Pisces wanted to be my date.

Love the neckline on my dress.

Oooh, I love that dress, Barb! The way the colors change is dreamy!

Our wings are not tired.

Barb, looking mighty hott in that dress.

Happy new year my beloved Bitches!

It has been wonderful here in Otter Lake every day this visit. Gently falling snow all day and night. Everything is so pretty. The boys have been having fun playing. I plan to get outside in it eventually. For now sitting watching out the window has worked well for me.

Brunch is planned at some point today. I made a couple quiches earlier, one broccoli and a crab variety. My niece is doing french toast. Not sure what else is happening. I'm soooo very relaxed.

May 2010 be everything we've hoped for and more.

Snow pictures, unedited because I don't have my tools, but pretty. [link]

Um, I'm going to take your new probiotic on the off chance that I stop liking sugar. M'kay?

Teppy, what is this new probiotic?? because a serious craving for sweets? Yeah. So, on the off chance that I have Candida overgrowth, I'd like to try it. Certainly couldn't hurt me, yeah?

It's called florastor -- I recommend buying it online; drugstore.com has the best price I've found.

ION, I'm on The Boy's computer because my laptop might be kaput. A trip to the Apple store is in my future.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Barb that dress is scrumptious on you!

Anybody else really wishing for Buffista Island not just because it would be great to be surrounded by Buffistas, but because together we would create reasons to dress up in our prettiest clothes....

Compassionately intolerant

I may have to check out florastor as well.

I don't have any particular gastro issues, especially since going gluten free. BUT, the side effect I expected, namely elimination of a decades long yeast overgrowth has not come to fruition. And I still crave carbohydrates like nobody's business. I can sail through an entire packet of rice crackers just as effectively as I used to mow through a baguette.

Thanks for the tip Tep. And how great that it's working for you!

Well, I'm a little concerned since I had to start antibiotics yesterday for my Death Cold 2009-2010. I'm hoping that since I'm already taking probiotics, the antibiotics won't whack out my GI tract too badly.

not your mom's socks.

I hope so as well Teppy. Though my brain did go to a bad "two biotics enter! One biotic leave!" place when I read that.
