I have met you on a train
I have met you puking out your brains
I have met you dodging a dance
I have met you in leather pants.
This? Is AWESOME.

Um, I'm going to take your new probiotic on the off chance that I stop liking sugar. M'kay?
It's not so much that I don't like it anymore (I had a Christmas cookie last night, and it was tasty), but I don't have the heroin-junkie craving for it. Weirrrrrrrrd.
This? Is AWESOME.
Happy New Year!

When I did the low-carb deal-i-o several years ago that happened after a few weeks of suffering. Except that I'd have these vivid dreams about drinking lots and lots of Kool-Aid.
Have we "seen" this? (The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks.)
Happy New Year my Bitches!!! Love ya all. May 2010 bring peace and happiness to all we like.
120dB is flat out irresponsible for an extended period!I agree. No clue how long they kept that level. My office is on 5, performance hall on 3. I could feel the bass. Not just vibration, but thump thump. I didn't dare enter the theater. My ears are too valuable.
Morning, boys and girls. So far, 2010 looks much like 2009, but I've only been up for half an hour. Today I'm going to a dinner at The Girl's parents' home, following a memorial that they've had for their grandfather (they do this every year) this morning. I am already emotionally exhausted from two days with them - there's a lot of 'issues' there, from mine (inaccessible house with many stairs, family members who are massively and obviously uncomfortable with "the same-sex thing", etc) to theirs (mainly, cancer). Four-day migraine is not helping. I'm surviving on large doses of codeine.
All of that said, I'm loving Israel. I had preconceptions about it that were just completely wrong. We saw Ceasarea yesterday and we're hoping to fit in visits to Haifa, Galilee and Jerusalem. It's all so interesting.
This is weird and disturbing: my stronger-than-death sweet tooth is GONE.
I'm another one with IBS and candida issues, and a total sugar junkie (especially chocolate). I must go back on probiotics. It's difficult to find one that makes a difference. Sounds like yours is doing that! Wishing you continued reducing sugar cravings. Oh, and I hope you feel better soon.
Happy New Year!!!!!
Um, I'm going to take your new probiotic on the off chance that I stop liking sugar. M'kay?
Teppy, what is this new probiotic?? because a serious craving for sweets? Yeah. So, on the off chance that I have Candida overgrowth, I'd like to try it. Certainly couldn't hurt me, yeah?
Happy 2010, all!
So. I'm getting better, little by little. And got a list of "house chores to do" by my mom, so yay (this will be accompanied with music to keep me sane and happy). Also, no fever!
Naomi, I'm glad you're loving Israel. I'd also love to hear more about your preconceptions and how they turned out to be wrong, because that's always interesting.
ION. My God, the stuff I'm getting myself into.
Remember how I said a while ago that one of the Very Redundant Classes is getting better because I'm getting pretty involved in discussion trying to shift it into area I like? Well, it just got... something. This is a class of "Intro to Historical Thought", and could be so wonderfully interesting. Anyhow, next class will be discussing post modernism. I sent my lecturer the post modernism generator link, on one hand, and on the other, a segment out of Asimov's The Dead Past (Asimov, btw, is a great comfort these days).
She just got back to me, offering me to translate the segment I sent her and give a presentation for extra credit.
I don't really want to do it, both for lack of time and will to stand and give a presentation when 90% of the people in my class couldn't care less about it (this class), but it feels like a glove was thrown at me and now I need to pick it up. But for the greater good of putting me on the dean's honor list this year, it might be worth it. Not to mention that involving sci-fi/fantasy in my curriculum is one of my wettest dreams.
Also, Teppy, I wouldn't know myself without my sweet tooth, so I can relate.
Maybe someone stole it from you?
