Trust my rage

I just spent two hours on the phone trying to make a mortgage payment. Seriously - I'm giving them their money and they won't/wouldn't take it. No wonder they (GMAC) are about to go bankrupt.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

sj, J is totally adorable! What a sweetie.

Aims, much home-ma. I hope the situation doesn't affect you too much.

At Heathrow. Despite the incredible mess that El Al originally made of our seat booking, we didn't have any further arguments with them here and we checked in with no bother. They didn't even object to carrying my walker as well as the wheelchair. Fantastic. Here's hoping I cope with the flight (bit of a nervous flyer).

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

J is one super-cute kid!

That's so bizarre, Stephanie. I run into that no-we-won't-take-your-legitimate-payment things now and then and it never gets any less weird.

Safe flight, Seska.

Cause I'm not wealthy and successful and do not own all my own shit, including my own house.

If that's the case, then I'm totally fail because I don't have an awesome husband and kid like you do :)

I know that it's hard, but, honey, you've got to look at all of the good things that you've got going on. It's not fail, just not where you want to be, which is totally legit.

I am frustrated that we are not where I would ideally like us to be, home-ownership-wise, but we are in school, we are working toward better things, and all that matters is that we keep our family as awesome as it is.

And I doubly fail because I have neither house nor hubs and kid! Geesh.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

but we are in school, we are working toward better things, and all that matters is that we keep our family as awesome as it is.

This is so very important. What you're doing right now can lead to so much more. It's an investment and investments take time to pay out. I, for one, think you and Joe are doing a marvelous job and know you will get the things you want.
