Buffy: How was school today? Dawn: The usual. A big square building filled with boredom and despair. Buffy: Just how I remember it.

'The Killer In Me'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

So my bad luck with electronics continues. For Christmas I got the wireless router I need for my Samsung blu ray player.

I got to set it up and no luck. I can't even figure out what's going wrong, I have an idea. But the directions only tell you what to do, they have no suggestions on options if that doesn't work. I should not be surprised by this I have the worst luck in trying to get electronics set up and working. Even things that are supposed to be plug and play generally take me about a half dozen tries.

Compassionately intolerant

What a relief Beth. I hope there are not terrible or long lasting ramifications of her disappearance.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That is great news, Beth.

Now tagless for your comfort.

askye, when we set up our PS3 for a wireless connection, it walked us through the set up menu--including doing a search for a wireless signal. Does your Samsung do that?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay, for the 16yr old getting home safely!

The status is NOT quo.

So glad to hear she's home safe, Beth!

I've been skipping and skimming this week, so apologies if I've missed important things. We had a decent Christmas with ND's family (low drama, which is good) and then headed back up to LA Friday night. My mom got in last night, which is great, but her luggage is, sadly, apparantly lost. The system says it never left CT, yet no one seems to be able to say where it is or when it will get here. She's being great about it, but we are both worried. The clothes are replacable, but she'd also packed a bunch of my childhood photos, the best ones she could find in her albums, and those are definitely not replacable. Safe luggage-ma would be appreciated.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

What is this, the official childhood photos Christmas? Mom brought five or six albums to my brother's house on the 25th. Wishing yours (& your Mom's luggage) a safe (and quick) trip to your house, Kristin.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Kristin, may the luggage and photos show up safely.

There was more pee on the bare floor, so suspicion now falls on my roomie's cat. I know I have you all on tenterhooks, here.

It's not late at all, but I think I have post-holiday exhaustion setting in, so I shall head to bed. Besides, I got in trouble again last week for being late to work, so I need to do all I can to be on time.

Night, y'all.
