[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, gosh, beth, how scary. Safety~ma for her.
Indeed. I hope she's just out being 16-years-old, and not... other.
Not other~Ma, too.
Goodness, beth, I hope she's ok.
I just had 9 hours of sleep in my own bed, after several nights trying to sleep on a blow-up mattress in my niece's room. She's always wonderfully gracious about sharing her space, but it's great to be back to my pillow-top queen-size mattress, with bonus knee-warming cat.
beth, how awful! I hope she's ok.
Beth, all kinds of ~ma going out to her. I hope she's safe.
Jilli playing with her mini-me doll is awesome. Cash getting excited over a cami is equally as awesome. Both are very smile inducing.
Ashton cat has been sleeping in our bedroom since he got sick but I think DH is over it now. Ash *is* doing much better... Enough to return to his habit of being very chatty if we're asleep and he wants attention or food or whatever. I don't mind it that much because when I had my place my furry roomies were almost always allowed in my room, but Mike has always had a closed-off bedroom policy with his cats. Which I understand, for the most part, so I let his ruling stand, but I will miss falling asleep to the sound of a purring kitty.
Tons and tons of found-and-home-and-safe~ma to your volunteer, beth, and at least as much ~ma to her parents. How terrifying.
Skippy McSkipperPants here. About 600 posts missed and the last 100 or so skimmed. Hate doing that! And yet.
Safe and sound ~ma for the teen.
Skimmed too few of the Christmas tales. What I saw sounded good. I hope family gatherings were drama free and fun.
We had lovely gatherings here and at my parents. Presents were just the right things. Food was scrumptious. The worst was the mushroom barley soup that was just plain bland; the best was the very well received homemade Irish Cream and Kahlua mix. Yum. The broccoli cheese casserole was mighty awesome too. Alas, MIL decided to pour water in the pan when we clearly could have scraped out another cup or two.
Yesterday was all about resting. Today I am working like mad to prepare for departure early Tuesday to snow country.
There is much more, but again with the working like mad part.
~ma and hugs and such all round.
Also, baby! Well done, GC.
Beth, I hope she's okay. That's so scary.
One of my sister's cats was recently diagnosed with diabetes, so my sister is adjusting to giving her twice daily shots. She seems to be doing okay except she's nowhere near as chatty as she used to be.
Speaking of noisy cats, KBD's cat has taken to hissing at me, but only when I'm up and moving. It's like she's scared I'm going to kick her or something. When I'm still she sucks up to me and wants me to pet her. This is new in the last month or so. Any insights?
I'm introducing KBD to Life on Mars UK. Jury still out.
DH and his bro are working on organizing the garage today. Me, I did my time yesterday while they hung out by doing all the laundry and dishes and general clean up after our house full of guests, so I'm going to see "A Single Man." I never go to movies by myself anymore, so I am really looking forward to it.
