Kaylee: You're nice, too. Mal: No, I'm not. I'm a mean old man.

'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think sunlight is male energy

Does that mean female energy is waning? What is the female energy? Or just that there was a lack of male? Yin and yang? Or yang and less yang?

All is well that ends in pizza.

So, because my normal schedule is to always have Friday off, and they want to give everyone a holiday, today is my compensation day off.

..Except that they called a mandatory meeting for 6 this morning.

I live an hour away from work, that meant that I would have had to get up at 4 to get cleaned up to go in for a one hour meeting on my day off.

I pled insanity (I didn't specify whose) and they decided to have a second meeting for 2nd shift at 2:30 today.

I still have to drive 100 miles round trip in a snowstorm, and it is still my "holiday" and I have to shovel the 2 inches of new snow that fell overnight.

Oh yes, and pick up my medications on my way out of town, because I might not be able to get back in time to do so afterward, although I bet I will.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Does that mean female energy is waning?

Does female energy wax and wane with lunar cycles?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Not worry about it and just give her a card

I think this is fine. You bought gifts for the troupe, she's not in it anymore, no big deal.

Those ornaments are beautiful, by the way.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

DCJ, I would call out sick. That's totally unreasonable.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I just checked my work email and I can infer they they are putting time constraints on support calls.

Wonderful.

Compassionately intolerant

Or just that there was a lack of male? Yin and yang?

Exactly this. Both energies are constructive and destructive. Without balance, there is chaos. So they share equally in the turning of the wheel of the year. t [link]

Depending on which brand of Paganism, to which you ascribe, one energy may hold dominance in your heart. (Willow being a noted Wiccan...very female focused) But, in essence, you can't have one without the other.

Does female energy wax and wane with lunar cycles?
This also true. But in a 'closer to the ground', elemental way.

Actually, I was viewing those as different. Male and female, or male and lack of male. Yin and yang, or yang and less yang.

brillig

Both energies are constructive and destructive. Without balance, there is chaos.

Chaos vs. order, destruction vs. creative. You can embrace order completely, but you accept destruction and creation. If you go for the creative path, you have to accept chaos and order.

Erisianism/Discordianism in a nutshell.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I really need to be getting stuff done today but so far hiding under a blanket with a cuppa and a book is winning. So tired.
