Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

sj, others responded before I could with pretty much everything I would have said, and then some. He'll feel better fairly soon after he starts taking the medication. The Dr will want to retest his TSH after 6 weeks or so to make sure he's on the right dosage.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Fresh Beat Band?

No, though MM says they are guilty of the same thing. In this instance he was talking about Hi-Five.

Both of these shows should be banned by the Geneva Convention.

Always Anti-fascist!

JZ, Ari Gold had a day like that(well, yeah, kinda always) but there was one time in particular that made him write an e-mail with nothing but "FUCK YOU!!!" in it and he didn't have a period to blame.

Where's that baby Shane? I hope GC's doing okay.

I am totally cutting the moms slack for not posting right away. They need their Shane bonding time!

In the oven: cod fillet mixed with tomatoes, onions, capers, olives, olive oil, salt, pepper and thyme. I'll serve it over couscous with onions and parsley. I'm excited.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Vortex, how do you get up the energy and excitement to cook for one? I used to get pretty fancy when I cooked for company, but these days I do the minimum possible to not expire from malnutrition.

I envy the flavour of everything you post, but not enough to do dishes.

Trust my rage

Just skipping a ton and checking in to look for news about baby Shane. Hoping he and his moms are all adoring each other and enjoying the peace of a just born baby.

Sometimes I think we reset the scale by so many labor & posts. We tend to squeeze them out and then head right back to the fieldsintenets.

JZ sorry about the stabby feelings.

Can anyone tell me if mitzvahs can be banked for later? Because I think I've got a few extra and want to save them up for later.

I don't know. I love to cook, to create new things, and to eat. I'm unsatisfied by a lot of prepared food (mostly because things are too sweet). I'm also a cheapskate, and I hate spending money to buy prepared food when I could have double the amount if I just took a little time to cook it. Plus, if I cook, I usually make enough for two meals, so I end up having something for the freezer or later in the week.

eta: this is not to say that i don't shortcut (i.e. rotisserie chicken is made of awesome). Plus, since I started walking to work, getting takeout or going to the store is almost more effort than cooking)
