Nice acronym, Mom!

Buffy ,'Showtime'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Hi, MM! Yeah. Especially the more I watch Johnny Drama.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What is Michael Rosenbaum doing now? He might be less bored, but I hope he's no less solvent. He is sadly less visible.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't get to twitter from here--can you summarise?

Mostly socializing.

Also, it was raining in LA.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG's doctor left a message for him that his bloodtests indicated he should be on thyroid medication and that they have called in a prescription for him. Does that seem right? To me a thyroid problem would at least call for a follow up visit before going on meds. I could use some sort of calm perspective her because I am kind of freaking out.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I had to watch this bright, spritely young woman pretend to practice to surf (yes, not pretend to actually surf, pretend to practice) while singing some revoltingly saccharine ditty through clenched teeth and a smile that looked like she had hooks in her cheeks attached to lines that ran around the back of her head. Her face was like a cross between Sesame Street and Hellraiser. And all I could think was: "I bet you went to Juilliard, didn't you? You poor, poor, wretched thing."

Fresh Beat Band?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

It depends on which way the thyroid isn't working right. If his TSH is high, it means his thyroid function is low, and taking synthroid is almost no-brainer territory. It's got low risk of side effects. It might be reasonable to start on a lowish dose, then go back for a follow-up to check how much higher the dosage needs to go, if it does. But if the thyroid is hyper, so to speak, that is a more involved doctoring issue.

His public needs him! What is he thinking?

Thanks, WS. He doesn't know which way the thyroid function is. I am going to listen to his cellphone message when he gets home in a bit (half day today because he has a meeting) and see if I can make more sense of the message.

ETA: Based on his symptom of exhaustion, I am thinking low.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Fresh Beat Band?

No, though MM says they are guilty of the same thing. In this instance he was talking about Hi-Five.
