Because I'm not supposed to water the plants until the 29th, and I'm leaving for Christmas on the 24th. I didn't want to commit to a special trip just to pick up the gift. If the roads had been normal, fine, but I am trying to stay off of the road unless it's really necessary.

TCG's doctor left a message for him that his bloodtests indicated he should be on thyroid medication and that they have called in a prescription for him. Does that seem right? To me a thyroid problem would at least call for a follow up visit before going on meds. I could use some sort of calm perspective her because I am kind of freaking out.
