Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

( continues...) So honestly, if I'm right here, I think it's not only an academic violation, but also an offense to all who are in concern.

Am I overreacting? I didn't say anything to her yet and didn't confront her (hey, it'll be so much easier lying and tell her they didn't find the notebook), but she really can do all of this by herself, esp. after the time I've giving it so far (not to mention, I think it was a little bit rude to ask me to take out the notebook; it takes time, I'm not even sure they'll let me do it and she should have waited till I offered it). I think that worst case, it should take her 8 hours on her own to write something; she certainly doesn't need my unreadable exam notebook if she had read the presentations and 4-5 items of the bibliography. So now I'd like to know what do you guys make of it, too see if I'm missing something here.

And, IOfunN of the day: why nobody told me the carpet I sat on to have my lunch was wet? Now the back of my pants is wet, and it's kind of embarrassing to walk like this in the university.

(Sorry to post and run, and I don't have the time to proofread the post; I hope it's clear enough).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Shir, I suggest: "I think you're trying to get me to do your work for you, and I wouldn't do that even for my best friend. Goodbye."

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Shir, I would go with "I'm not comfortable giving you my old exam. I don't want anyone to get the impression that you might be using it inappropriately and that I helped you"

Shir, it sounds suspicious. What is the reason you can sign out a past exam? I suspect it is so YOU can see what YOU did wrong. I think you are perfectly within your right to say "this falls outside of the accepted reason to sign out my past exam. I do not feel comfortable with turning my work over to you". Maybe chat with the professor?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm fine with confronting her and/or avoid her request. I just wanted to make sure that it sounds fishy to you guys as well, and it's not just my paranoid goody two shoes mind.

I won't get others into this matter as long as I won't have to, and I certainly hope I won't have to and she'll finally go away. Good God, trust me, this is an easy exam. I believe that the efforts she invested in trying to get out of it by far were far beyond the efforts she should have invested in just studying for it like the rest of the normal people are doing.

The status is NOT quo.

Ha! This is true so often.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

shir: sounds totally and completely fishy, like she's trying to cheat off you.

IOmeN: is there a reason that my foot hurts like blinding agony whenever i lie down? Just to keep me from sleeping? Vicodin isn't working for more than 4 hours of the night, then...agony. I wake up, take another vicodin, then try to sleep but nothing but pain as long as i stay horizontal. I've broken my foot many times before and this is highly unusual and unexpected. I would really like to get re-aquainted with sleep. I is tired and cranky.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Shir, that definitely sounds like the other student is up to something. You are not over-reacting.

The student sounds like a cheater to me.

I had ambitions of a lot of cleaning, it has progressed , but very slowly
