I think all I actually know about egg nog is that should contain a lot of rum and nutmeg. Why would you serve it before that?

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I made chocolate eggnog once, and it was pretty good, but it was an awful lot of work and mostly what I liked about it was the chocolate. I like Silk Nog quite a bit, though.
I don't know that I've ever had proper eggnog with booze in...I didn't grow up with it and I'm not really a fan of eggs, so I'd more likely just have the booze...
I hate the taste of eggs. My egg nog, rummed or not..wait, what am I saying...I've never actually tasted the unrummed, doesn't taste anything like them. It tastes of fresh nutmeg and rum and milky creamy goodness.
You know me, Burrell. I've been making the family nog since I was wee too.
mmmmm. That's true, I do know you. But I didn't know you made egg nog.
Once I tried real egg nog the store bought stuff became fairly unpalatable to me.
It tastes of fresh nutmeg and rum and milky creamy goodness.
So true. Plus it's very textural somehow.
We could just call it ita nog and pretend that it doesn't contain eggs at all. Just nutmeg-laced rummy, nummy.
Now I really want some rum.
I will have to give the real stuff a try some time when I have the opportunity.
Now I really want some rum.
WHY IS THE RUM GONE?
Mmm. Rum sounds nice. Don't think I have any.
WHY IS THE RUM GONE?
BECAUSE MY MUMMY IS NOT YOUR MUMMY.
