Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

She's a happy girl. I got to meet one of the creators of Phineas and Ferb online (he's planning to submit one of our first graphic novels)

HOLY CRAP! That's cool! I'll tell Owen and he will be jealous.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Isn't it awesome? He's a really great guy, too. He's on twitter, Matt Nastos, @niftymat. Owen could tweet at him.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The parking meters in my new town are 25 cents for five hours, with a ten hour limit, and the meters are required from 9 to 5. Most of the houses in this neighborhood were built before cars, so none of them have driveways, and everybody parks in the street. According to my neighbors, no one ever actually puts money into the meters, and the police only come around and give tickets a few times a year, and those tickets are $5. What's the point of having the meters in the first place?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Sounds like something someone on the council voted in a long time ago to appease a vocal resident, but the police don't have enough time to support. Or, after they were put in by vocal resident, other vocal residents complained about all the tickets.

Bankruptcy was actually an immense relief to Hubby and me ten years ago, though we didn't have a house at stake. Not being idiots with five cars and three houses, all we lost were debts, not like the weasels who were trying to weasel out of having to give up the boats and the big screen TVs and the water scooters et al.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Bankruptcy would have been more of a relief to me, 15 years ago, if I had included everything in the bankruptcy, including my house. I tried to hold on to my house and my car, and ended up losing them both a few months later anyway, because I was broke. (I got my car back, thanks to my sister, who paid off the note.)
